Spirit Bomb is the 10th energy skill in Dragon Blox Ultimate. It is also the 2nd orb skill in the game.
Origin[]
This skill is taken from Dragon Ball Z, where it is first used by Goku in his first fight against Vegeta. There, it is much smaller and fired with one hand as opposed to two. The version in the game is more like the Large Spirit Bomb and Super Spirit Bomb, which are used against Frieza and Kid Buu respectively.
Appearance[]
The user holds both arms up, creating an orb of light blue energy above their head. After about 2 seconds, the player throws the orb (which is quite small at minimum charge) forwards. Upon hitting a surface, player/NPC, or energy attack. the orb detonates in a small explosion, which destroys any trees/buildings it touches. The attack can be charged to increase its size, which also increases the size of the explosion, though the damage is the same. The orb takes about 16 seconds to reach its maximum size, with the explosion from a fully charged orb being quite massive.
Requirements[]
This skill requires 45,000 stats in energy to unlock. No stats in strength, speed, or defense or required, and no rebirths are required either. The skill is also exclusive to the Good Side. It then requires 160 energy to fire.
Usage & Power[]
This skill is pretty much useless considering what else is available to the player upon unlocking it. In terms of scaled damage, the skill is much weaker than Final Flash, the strongest attack the player has before unlocking this move. Energy Volley is also a better pick. Charging up the attack, while not useless, is not recommended as the damage doesn't change and it takes too long to make much of a difference. As an orb skill, it has a longer cooldown than beam skills, which is something that should be kept in mind.
It's worth noting that the explosion is what deals the damage of the move, and it will also damage people who touch it while it's still going off. Sometimes, the orb will glitch out and stop just short of hitting someone, not exploding and hence not doing any damage. The orb will also sometimes just explode the instant it is fired.
